We hope you had a restful summer and are feeling refreshed for the year ahead.

Today, we’re incredibly excited to share our newly photographed project ‘Ample House’.

Ample House is an exploration into the concept of ‘enoughness’. It’s all about asking what is enough to achieve a beautiful, comfortable, healthy home without unnecessary excess. We were able to prioritise our client’s garden area and design highly functional spaces tailored to their needs. The ultimate environmental benefit to this is the saved embodied energy in reducing the volume of construction.

The finished home is light-filled. warm, and has a great connection to a beautifully landscaped garden - skilfully conceived of, embraced and loved by our clients.

In other news - we’re hitting the ground running in 2026, with a number of new sustainable home designs well on the way, and we look forward to sharing more with you as they progress.

Two Handovers to wrap up 2025

As we kick off the new year, we’ve been taking a moment to reflect on a busy and rewarding end to 2025. We are thrilled to have officially handed over two unique homes to our clients, each representing a different approach to sustainable modern living.

While these projects couldn’t have greater contrasting sites, they share a common thread: a commitment to environmental performance and thoughtful, client-specific design.

Bentleigh - This elegant design is a celebration of beauty in simplicity. A light material palette and thoughtful layout contribute to the home’s open, spacious and elegant qualities.

Situated on a generous block, the home takes advantage of views to the adjacent parkland and is designed to blend with an expansive garden that envelopes the whole house - enabling our client to create her dream native garden.

Heidelberg - With intelligent and lively additions, this design adapts a well-loved family home to ensure it responds to the needs of our clients and their growing kids.

A rear studio adds flexibility into teenage years and beyond, while an integrated spa becomes the perfect place to take in views down to the adjacent billabong before retreating back into a comfortable and energy efficient home retrofit with sustainable building interventions.
