I couldn’t be more proud to introduce you to this beautiful being, my son Otto. Parenting him alongside my wife Lauren is an absolute joy. Daily routines are made delightful, and each day begins with his gorgeous big smile and bright eyes greeting me in the early hours of the morning. It's easy to be taken in by his excitement at the simplest of things I have long overlooked or rushed past. Every moment is an invitation to slow down, be present, wonder at the magnificent world around us, and consider life’s priorities. Our actions, behaviour and life outlook matter deeply - for the benefit of community, social justice, and for our environment. Being a parent and seeing an open, vulnerable face, full of trust and opportunity brings these responsibilities into sharp and regular focus. Naturally, there is now a greater challenge in finding a balance between work and home commitments. However, with the values of Green Sheep Collective aligned with those of my family, the two responsibilities have begun to merge. My drive to create respectful and sustainable built environments that are equitable and accessible has been renewed and revitalised. How we behave towards those around us, and what we impact, have a ripple effect well beyond our immediate environment. I hope for Otto, we are creating not just a beautiful home environment, but are positively and respectfully impacting the broader context within which he will grow and flourish.
