Say hello to….

50/50s House

50/50s House is a love letter to the 1950’s. Bold lines and playful geometry work in tandem with the charm of the existing house to create a beautiful healthy home that is as endearing as it is enduring.

Our clients, creative professionals with a love for ‘found objects’, have a passion for the restoration of mid-century spaces and a desire to showcase their eclectic collections and express vibrant personalities. With this in mind, our design process focussed on how we could make a big impact with small interventions that respected and elevated the existing home and site.

Fare-Mel

This is long overdue but we wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you and good luck to Mel Corrigan who left the Green Sheep Collective team last year.

Mel was an integral part of Green Sheep Collective and we loved having the opportunity to work with her across a range of projects. She worked on 50/50s House, our project photographed above, she played a pivotal role in the design of our award-winning projects Maaemo and The Snug and our three projects currently in construction have her fingerprints all over them.

We are so grateful for the work that she has done and know that she made a real and meaningful impact in the lives of many of our clients.

Thank you Mel for being such a joy to work with, we have loved seeing the beautiful illustrations you have been working on (check them here) and wish you the best of luck in your next adventure.

Our Planetary Donation

We are super excited to have made our first contributions as members of the 1% for the Planet program. We have chosen to make donations to five awesome organisations.

The Parlour Collective!

Green Sheep Collective are proud members of the Parlour Collective. Wow, that's a lot of collectives!

Parlour is an amazing research-based organization that advocates for gender equity in the architectural industry. The Parlour Collective is their supporter’s program.

We joined APHA

Green Sheep Collective are now members of the Australian Passive House Association. Shae has also now completed the Passive House Designer course which means we’re one step closer to being Passive House certified.

Meanwhile in Heathmont…

Natural Build have been hard at work on a new renovation + extension project. Duong has been working closely with the Natural Build team to keep things moving forward. The project is a minimal intervention that features the insertion of three triangular forms that connect and rationalise the existing structures. We’re thrilled to see the form take shape and look forward to keeping you updated as we progress.
